Anyone else having my particular issues with Tax refund?

Where is my Tax refund?

• I file my return on Jan 13 and my return was accepted on Jan 14 I did my return through Tax brain when I click on accepted it brought up the Bank where my refund was going and it told me my refund was expected to be deposited on Jan 25, On Jan 23 when I check it again it stated my refund was not deposited has expected from the IRS Please wait one week and check back, I called where is my refund and the message said my refund was processing and I should get my refund by Jan 31 unless I owe back tax which I don't or if there was processing delay's. I called and Talked to a agent she didn't appear to have much info except to say That she did not see anything wrong with my return at this time, She also when on to say that the IRS only sends checks out on Fri Late which means our bank will not get them until the Next business day Monday if we are using a tax service bank they will have them Monday and we should have them Tues. However from my experience has a tax prepare for HR Block when you don't get your refund on expected date there is a issue with your return and they have pull your return for review which could take weeks. Or there is a issue with the IRS being back up or computer issues. My question has anyone heard anything about the IRS having issues?

  Yes the IRS is having a big issue this year and the majority of us that were to have our refunds on the 25th did not receive them. Here is the link to their half assed lie of an explanation they gave within an hour of being contacted by Fox 2 News. It's a damn shame that it took going to the media to get a bulletin released.
