When should i expect my tax refund?

When can I expect my tax refund to be on my emerald card?

  • Me and my husband filed our taxes on January 20,2012 and received a text about 3 hours after doing so saying that the irs had accepted our return. We were told we would receive our refund 7-14 days after filing. However, when I went on line and looked, it said we should expect our refund February 1 which is tomorrow. So, I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be on there around midnight tonight or sometime tomorrow. We are looking to buy a car soon, I am due to have a baby any day now! So we really need ths money. Thanks : )

We filed the 20th and were accepted the same day. No return yet. Still "processing" and says BY February 7th but from my understanding, their dates are a load of crap this year. I doubt I"ll see mine before the 7th, and most likely after. I'm not happy about it, either.

I'm in the same boat! My baby is due Feb 13th and I need the return for a car as well. I filed on the 22nd and was accepted that day. Told by hr block that it would be the first and irs.gov it says the 7th.... Really hope it comes tomorrow ... Gooooood luck!
