How do you get another copy of W-2?

Where can we get another copy of my mother's W2 Form?

  • I need to fill out my FAFSA and they need a copy of her W2's. She has been on unemployment for the past 2 years but they never sent her the forms. I checked my NY State Department of Labor website but I had no luck finding anything. We tried calling but keep getting an automated system. Can anyone find the exact link? Thank you so much!

    You don't get a W-2 with unemployment. You get a 1099G. Your mom can get the 2008 and earlier forms from the IRS using form 4506-t, calling or by going to a walk in center. She can request a "verification of non-filing letter."
