What is the date today?

WMR updated today from you should receive your refund by the 7th to showing no date..What does this mean?

  • WMR updated today. Last week it showed that we would be getting our return by the 7th. Today it read "your tax return has been received and is being processed." There is no longer an expected refund date listed what does this mean? Also, our return status is married filing a joint return. When I check using my wife's SSN it still shows that we will get our refund by the 7th. When I check under my SSN I get the status I listed above. Why is this? I was hoping this meant our refund was already deposited but I called my bank today and they don't show the refund at all not even in a pending status. I am concerned that this means our refund is being delayed even longer then it already has been. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My status stayed on the "by feb 7th" date forever. I called the irs (1-800-829-1040 and press nothing. Wait for a person and tell them you need to speak to a real live person about your refund). A very nice lady told me that my dd is scheduled for 2/8. The wmr finally updated today to 2/8. I also filed married joint.

It means that you need to check again later or tomorrow to see if it updates. Most are getting DD dates of the 8th that filed between the 19th and the 25th and haven't received their refund yet. If it doesn't change by tomorrow morning, call the IRS at, 1.800.829.0582 EXT. 362 and ask for an update.

does it give you the 6 week message something like "your tax return has been received and is being processed." if theres no delays you should get it in 6 weeks? mine is doing that today i had a feb 7th due date before this as well.. the system has been acting up today also..

Why because you are checking the site too often. At some point it will lock you out.
