How much Federal Tax will I have to pay if?

I live in New York City If I make 800 a week I'm single and 20 years old how much tax I will have to pay?

  • From what I read is that I will have to pay more than 20% tax each week. Is this true? My friend works over in super market he is 18 also single no kids no house live with his parents same as me and he pays 10% tax each week he gets his pay check. How does this work? How much federal and state tax I will have to pay?

    When you got hired you may have put 0 as the number of withholdings. He may have put 1. It all breaks out even at the end. Since he is getting less taken out in taxes, he will get a smaller tax refund. ^ actually a smart thing to do. Why let the feds have that money all year without paying you interest.
