I had changed my address before i was suppose to get my check,will i still get my check?

I would contact IRS with address change form. They are using the address that they have on file for you. If you filed electronically, you will get it in your bank account. If you filed paper return, they will mail it.

Government mail is not suppose to be forwarded, (some POST OFFICE employees do forward the mail and usually because they know who you are.) The post office put a yellow label on the IRS envelope and returns it to IRS, IRS will then send you a "are you there?" letter and once you respond will then re-issue the check to your new address. You need to change your address with IRS by calling 1-866-234-2942 or 1-800-829-1040 or visit your local IRS office, or mail in Form 8822 Change of Address with the IRS.

It depends on when the IRS received your address change. If it wasn't in time, the check will probably be returned by the post office. Once that happens, a new one will automatically be sent out to the new address of record. By the way, the check was MAILED on the 27th, so it's possible it will still show up if it has the new address.

If you did it through the Post Office yes you will get it. I did the same thing and it was forwarded.I got it about 4 days late.

As long as you left a forwarding address from your old place, then yes. All mail received at your old address will be forwarded to your new one. If you haven't done then, then you really should.
