For anyone who is due to get their stimulus payment by check in the mail this week..?

Actually , it depends on when you filed, earlier filers will receive rebates faster then filers that did their taxes closer to the April 15 deadline. So the earlier you filed the earlier your rebate. Same with the direct deposits, as informed tonite on the local news and a man from the accounting department that works for the IRS stated. He also stated several checks were printed today at 4 different locations and they are telling us to be patient because they are getting out over 600,000 at a time in most local areas. GOOD luck!!!!

I did the where is my rebate checker and it said mine id scheduled to be issued on may7th nd my last 2 digits are 04, so i imagine you should be in the same boat as me but this whole thing is messed up so who knows whats going on.

Are you talking about the regular refund being paid on the 16th? The IRS website it is still saying that the paper checks won't *begin* coming out till May 16th.

MIne says May 16th too. I was just wondering about that since they did say it was supposed to be moved up a week. I've heard so many stories about people getting theres early.

no its says they will start mailing them the 9th-16th

I am the same as you 03 and yes i too was told the 16th and hope that they go out tomarrow. does anyone know where they will be sent from (what state)?
