Has anyone received their refund who had a 1301 error message?

Has anyone with an IRS Direct Deposit Date of Feb 21, 2012 received their tax refund money yet?

  • I hear the Irs does deposits on Fridays and Mondays.. So today is Friday and still no money in the bank.. I have no error message and it's no longer processing.. The site is just pretty much stating that I will receive it. Here is my Irs message.. Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on February 21, 2012. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 26, 2012, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until February 26, 2012 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then. Please read the following information related to your tax situation: Tax Topic 203, Refund Offsets for unpaid child support and certain federal, state, and unemployment compensation debts.

  • Answer:

    It might be that you owe back child support or maybe college student loans. This happened last year to my friend and his refund was intercepted to pay his child support and he received nothing.

I FILED MINE ON 1-28-12 AND WAS TO BE DEPOSITED ON THE 13TH, I CALLED THE IRS TODAY AND THE LADY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE ON THE 23RD WHICH IS A THURSDAY

Filed my return on Feb. 6th and have not received my return yet. The IRS site also says it will be deposited on Feb. 21st.

Mines says the 22nd I am hoping and praying everythang go okay. I got my state so hopefully that means I don't owe nobody.. Looking for the same answer GL and keep me posted please...
