Why did Wheres My Refund change?

Is anyone else still waiting on WHERES MY REFUND?

  • Has anyone still not gotten any updated refund info at the WHERES MY REFUND site?I was accepted on the 16th thru turbo tax but all i get is that its processing and if no errors i will get refund Feb 1,2011. Not even the phone hotline is updated. Its supposed to change to new info. Im told wednesday it will.Is that right?

    Mine hasn't changed but I am not so sure about the once aweek updates this year. It seems like it is updating daily for most people, just not me. Last year it updated on wednesday for me, some peole have said thursday too. I am just trying very hard not to worry about it until friday. For all those just be patient people..... Some people don't have that luxury.

Mine still says same as yours. I called IRS and was told it hasnt even began processing yet but that I could still get it by friday. She said that the WMR is accurate but I can tell you from previous experience a lot of times you get refund before WMR updates

WMR isn't updating on wkends only these days. I advise for you to check daily because this year they have a new system that few of the returns are being processed through. I received mine yesterday and it gave me the same status yesterday. I checked the WMR this morning and it changed to the updated info about my dd for yesterday.

OH EM G!!!!! i am having the same problem!!! My federal return was accepted on the 16th as well and on where's my refund it says Feb. 1, and the refund cycle chart says the direct deposit will be sent on the 28th, but the where's my refund has not updated since last week!!!! almost a week ago!!! I'm freaking out! I got my Virginia state refund already!

Mine updated this morning and now says I due to processing delays, my refund is expected by February 8th... it has been saying February 1st before this morning when it updated :(

Just wait, it isn't the 1st of Feb yet. IRS updates their systems on Weekends. check you bank account Friday 28th the money may be their. good luck
