Does anyone know if we the taxpayers are going to get a stimulus check?

Was anyone scheduled to get their stimulus check direct deposited today and not get it?

  • Man, I know we're all in the same boat here as far as the economy and gas goes. So, obviously, a lot of us Americans are anxiously awaiting that stimulus check. I filed my Federal returns early, got them direct deposited. It was in there within 10 business days. Received a letter telling me I was eligible. Now, my last 2 digits are 12. The schedule posted on the IRS website states I would have the deposit by today, and still nothing. Is anyone in the same boat as me??? I just wanna know b/c with my life, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a massive screw-up with mine. lol

    I would assume everyone in the first batch would have them by now, unless your bank is super slow. Mine has been pending at my bank since Wednesday (last 2#s 04) and they released it this morning at 12:01am. When I tried "where's my stimulus" on the IRS site, it did tell me it would be DD today. My brother has not gotten his yet (last 2#s 08) and we have the same bank, were trying to figure out why. When he goes to the IRS site it tells him hes made a mistake.

My son has a SS# of 06 and mine is SS#11, neither of us got ours today, Friday. I think we are all #$&#$*

My daughter got hers deposited friday and her ss no# is 02....my sisters is #12 and she got hers friday also.....from what I understand, they will be depositing all the way up untill 5pm today, so keep checking your account today ! My friend had hers deposited around 4pm friday ! I am still waiting ! You can actually go to the www.irs.gov..........click on wheres my stimulus payment and put in your ss#...and it will tell you the date and amount....My other sister went to that site and followed the links, it told her that $750 will be deposited into her acct. this coming friday !

I didnt get mine either. Went to the IRS website and it says I made a mistake in entering my info, and to wait 2 weeks from the date of scheduled payment plan. I read that if you used a third party like Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, you will get a paper check. Not sure if this is true.

I received mine today direct deposited. My last two ss were 18. So I really don't know what the deal could be. I know five million were suppose to be direct deposited today. If you dont receive it by next Friday. I would definitely call someone. hope this helps!

I am expecting mine today also, I am assuming they will make deposits all day long, or at least I hope so. I am going to keep checking, I know with my bank, they have a habit of waiting until 2pm to post stuff, which is ridiculous. I hope everyone gets theirs soon, we all really need it.

yep mine hit my checking account at 1:00am this morning May 2 and is ready for use now. $1600, i filed january 22 and my last two are 02. Getting ready to go pay bills,,,,,,,,yipeeeeeee

I was counting on the money today also. Unfortunately, I realized yesterday that I would be receiving a paper check thanks to using H & R Block's Simple Pay when filing my federal return. If you used any services to have fees deducted from your federal refund instead of paying up front, you'll have to wait for a paper check.

I am having the same problem, we filed in jan and got fed refund in february, we also got the letter for stimulis and my SS# is 02, I still dont have my refund either.
