Can I program the remote door lock fob myself?

2003 1.4 petrol megane drivers door only, wont lock by fob?

• Can anybody help with this? It the only door that does not lock, wot could be the problem? Alternatively, how do you lock it manually by the key instead of the card/fob? Thanks a billion

  It is probably a faulty central locking motor on the drivers side front door that is causing the problem, this will require a complete new door catch Assembly as the two are combined together in one unit. To lock the door in an emergency you just need to open the door, look on the end of the door by the door catch and you will find a round hole. remove the key blade from your key card and turn the small plastic wheel, (it only turns a small amount so don't force it) after turning the plastic wheel close the door, it should now be locked. If it is not try turning it the opposite way and closing the door ! Not really sure why it has effected the rear door ! Not unless you have two faulty locks !
