Help..Renault Clio Radio Code?

my car radio is locked and i need a code and i dont have one and i phoned Renault Garage and its gonna cost £20 , just to get one!! im sure some clever person out there must know how to find the code? its an R reg Renault Clio 1.4..please please please help, i will be eternally grateful !

Answer:
The code will be written in the vehicle handbook. If you don't have that anymore the only thing you can do is fork out £20 to Renault or buy a new headunit.
