Can any tell me about mahindra logan?

You could google for Dacia (Renault's lower end brand) Logan. It has been on sale in countries like Romania for a few years now Other specs - expected 1.5liter common rail diesel, as well as petrol version 3) for India - Diesel will be popular, even if it underpowered at 70hp. Expect Renault to introduce a turbocharger to improve power characteristics. ALso expect Tata's to announce DiCor soon as Mahindra launches the logan 3)

Be on the lookout for the 1.6 16V petrol engine. This one is very good - the same engine they put on the Renault Clio as far as I know. Here in Romania, Dacia launched another Logan model, called Logan MCV - a break version for the Logan - has loads of space inside, you can use it to transport large stuff, also has 7 seats - more like a minivan. I'm really happy you want to buy a Dacia... They're good cars no matter what anyone says and they'll go a lot of miles before you'll want to sell it.

Hi there! I guess I could give you a little more info since I am the proud owner of 2 Logans. Both Romanian made. Both on gasoline (petrol). One is a Logan Ambition, bought in april 2006 and with which I already have more than 7000 Kms. At the time of purchase it was the top of the notch in Logan range. It has a 90HP 4 stroke computer controlled fuel injection engine, 1,6 liters - 8 valves. Air conditioning, alloy wheels, ABS, heated mirrors and rear pane. Extremely spacious and comfortable car. So far absolutely no problems with it. Runs like a dream. Have used it in summer at outer temps up to 40 degrees Celsius and in winter, so far no less than minus 8 Celsius. Colour is Egean blue (metalized dark blue). Manual 5 speed gearbox. Radio CD with MP3 and WMA player included, and inlet for outer program source. The other one is also a Logan, this time is a Prestige, the new model launched in the autumn of 2006. I was told it has the same engine and gearbox are the ones from Renault Megane. This one has improved interior comfort, a 16 valves 1,6 liter petrol engine, also computer controlled injection. The engine is totally different from the one on previous models. So is the gearbox. The car is more powerful (115 HP) and runs like a dream. It has excellent performances and runs like a dream. This one is also top of the notch (I've added every piece of optional equipment I could get) including a 800 USD radio CD with Panasonic 3 way speakers, surround and remote. Rearview mirrors are larger, the gearbox is easier to shift and there's also an elbow stand for the driver between the front seats. The engine is less noisy. The air conditioning compressor is very silent (the one on my other car is a bit noisy- I hear it's a general problem with "first generation" Logans! Great car! Truly! Better than Chevy AVEO or RENAULT Clio. Better than Opel Astra! Have driven all of these... BTW! The new one is silver platine. :) There is also a break version called MCV which is quite large! There are 4 motorization variants: 1,4 petrol; 1,6 petrol; 1,6/16valves petrol; and 1,5 Diesel (which is rather small for the car - it's a mere 65HP, not nearly enough for a car weighing over a ton). This year the new utility van and pickup are going to be launched and also a stronger Diesel. They are talking about a 1,9 engine to release more than 90HP. That would be a thing to see!

hii there, mahindra will probably launch the logan in february-march this year. that is within a month . it will be a sedan .it will be one of the largest sedan in the segment . Logan is also expected to be the best value for money offering . it will be jointly made by Mahindra n Renault . the expected price 4 this car will be 4- 5 lacks the vehicle will be largest in its class with one of the most spacious interiors .seats n legroom in the rear will be one of the best in the class n so will be the head room . coming to the engine part, it will be offer in both deisel as well as th petroll version 1.5 liter deisel engine will be offered which may be fitted with a terbo.. petrol engine of 1.6 liter or/and 1.4 liter will also be offered . if u want to perchacase a new midsize car then the Logan is surely worth the wait .... more over this car is from Mahindra n it will be a reliable product .. so go ahead..!
