2001 Toyota Camry vs. 2003 Infiniti G35?
-
I currently have a 2001 toyota camry with 30,000 miles. Its a 4 cylinder automatic. I am considering upgrading to a 2003 Infiniti G35 with under 40,000 miles. I just got a better job and am looking to upgrade. Can anyone tell me about reliability comparisons or general comments about either car.

Answer:
The Toyota will be more reliable, but the Infiniti might be a little sexier. With only 30k on a 10-year-old car, it doesn't sound like you do a lot of driving, so either would be fine (IMO.) You should check with your insurer to see how much more the sporty car will cost to cover. Good luck.

Toyota is considered entry level economy sedans. 4 cylinder is also rather small, but if your using it for commuting it'll be a LOT easier on gas. it's also a very reliable car. Infiniti is not considered entry level, they are considered luxury sedans. g35 will give you problems in the winter if you live in an area with lots of snow, because it's only RWD. If you have the AWD drive model it will be amazing in the winter. Toyota is Front Wheel Drive. G35 also comes with all leather options, and runs with a rather large 3.5L 286 horsepower engine. Translation: Gas will be very expensive. And Infiniti only takes premium gas, whereas Toyota will take regular. I personally bought the G35 because it is an amazing car. Upgrading is not for value, because as you get higher end, you pay for features that are extremely pricey, but whether or not its worth it, or even affordable, is all in your own eyes. But if your question is whether or not its an upgrade, yes it is. G35 competes with bmw 3 series and benz c class and acura TL. Infiniti is Nissan's Higher end, and im pretty sure it has the nissan 350z engine in it.
well currently with the toyota recall , the g35 is a major upgrade...dual zone climate change , 6 -CD changer 3.5 v6 engine equipped with the six-speed manual option got a boost to 298 hp. major upgrade , its also compaired to a bmw 3 series
