Help with Valentine's Day?

First valentines day when I'm NOT single? Help? Haha?

• So this will be the fist valentines day when I'm NOT single. I'm seventeen so that's probably not TOO unusual but whatever. My boyfriend and I will have been together 9 months by valentines day. He'll be eighteen and I'll still be seventeen. I'm not sure what to do for him though... I mean what do guys even want as far as valentines day goes? He'll probably have work that day (he's a lifeguard) would it be a bad idea to send a rose to his work? Not a whole bouquet, just one. Haha I don't know I'm really lost here. I was thinking of maybe getting a notebook and filling it with pictures and love letters and quotes...? He loves the sentimental/cheesy/hopeless romantic type stuff. I don't know. What do you think? Any advice or ideas? Thanks!!

  You don't have to go with the old cliche valentines presents like flowers, chocolates, love letters, stuffed toys etc. You can just get him something that would interests him or something he likes (i would rather that lol). You could get him boxers, a wallet, aftershave/perfume, clothes, a watch (if not too expensive), a book (if he likes to read) and if he doesn't mind love letters like you say then yeah put a little love letter in with the gift! You could take him out somewhere he likes, go out to dinner, picnic, movies, maybe a festival/carnival and go on the old fairest wheel lol and hey even paintball! i would find that more fun than dinner, or movies! Give him random kisses and tell him how much he means. There's always the romantic night at home but your 17 and don't no if it would be good of me to suggest that lol EDIT: If you dont want to get him a present, then yeh a bit of crafty scrapbooking with pictures and love quotes and letters would be great! even add a little bit of humor with it, to not make it so cheesy lol You could also give him a little key chain with a picture of yous both in it! Another great place to go for valentines day, would be the drive in. Its a bit laid back and more fun than just going to the movies.
