What is a good gift for my 15 year old gf bday?

  • Ok me and my girlfriend have been going out for a month and a half and her bday is coming up. Im only 13 and dont turn 14 till late july so there is a bit of a age diference which shouldn't matter. So i was thinking of getting her a ring from a jewelry store that my uncle owns. i get insane discounts, would a .3 karat diamond ring be bad, am i better off going with cubic zarconia. the ring would cost me around 40 bucks because my uncle owes me. help

    I'd steer away from a diamond ring as its a little 'engagement ring' if you know what i mean? But it's a nice idea though! How about a nice bangle/bracelet from there instead or a nice pendant necklace? you can still get diamonds if you want. I'm not sure if she personally prefers gold or silver but I find that most young people tend to choose silver coloured jewellery over gold, but I guess you would know her tastes better than us... have a look to see what colours she wears! good luck!

It is very sweet of you to think of giving your girlfriend such an extravagant gift, but you have only been going out a short time, so I would tone it down a bit. Can you get a nice bracelet or necklace (not diamonds) at your uncle's shop - save the idea for getting the ring perhaps for Christmas or when you have been going out longer and have had time to get more serious - your girlfriend is lucky to have such a thoughtful and generous boyfriend though - good luck!
