What percent of women buy there flowers for valentines day?

Ladies: Is it alright to send flowers to women on valentines day as a secret admirer?

• I see this women at my gym, she teaches some kind of fitness class. I'd like to talk to her maybe ask her out for lunch or something. But because of my job situation, I was let go a few month a ago and now live with my parents. I just finished a certificate program to try to get a job at the power company near my home and I've gone back to school to finish my bachelors degree in engineering, so I'm trying to get back on my feet. I'd like to talk to her but I don't have the confidence right now but when I find a job I would like to ask her out. So is it alright to send her flowers as a Secret admirer? Even if I had the confidence to talk to her she teaches an all women's class and when she comes into the gym she's like the wind. She walks in quickly and leaves quickly maybe she gets hit on all the time...lol..its kind of hard to make small talk If I do send flowers they'll be sent to the gyms front desk and they all know me, it would be kind of embarrassing. So is it alright to put an "admirer here at the gym" something like that. So she can kind of narrow it down..lol I know she has a facebook page but its blocked so I can't see if shes in any kind of relationship. Should I friend her? If she doesn't accept I would get an idea of weather to send flowers or not.

  I don't think it sounds like a good idea to send her flowers without knowing much about her (particularly if she is in a relationship or not). I know it is hard, but I think you should just be up-front about it! Ask her if she has a Valentine. Good luck to you!
