What can I give a Guy friend for Valentines day?

  • I have a guy friend who's single and hates it. How can I make him be less pessimistic about valentines day? Also, I want to give him something for valentines day, but I'm not sure what to give him. I am not romantically interested in him and I don't want it to seem like I'm giving him a card/gift because I feel sorry for him, I just kind of want to use the day to remind him that he's an amazing guy.

    honestly, i don't think he will feel you are giving him something because you feel bad. If you guys are close friends then he should think it's a token of appreciation. Give him a funny V-Day card that is for friendship, they have those under For Anybody lol write something playful and/or meaningful but not flirtatious to send him the wrong message. I think a card should be enough because I find it awkward to give a guy chocolates or a teddy lol what you can also do, if money allows it, go out to eat together to celebrate your friendship because after all, Valentine's Day is the celebration of Love AND Friendship. You guys can talk crap about how corny and cheesy the other couples are :)

If I were you, I'd just get him his favorite drink/food/candy whichever. Or, if there's some nicknack you can find that he likes (maybe a Transformer toy if he loved that movie, or a hot wheels if he loves cars, etc.) OR BOTH!! And then write him a little note that tells him he's an amazing guy and shouldn't give up on love. Tell him you like being his friend (that way there's no chance he could take it the wrong way). Then you'll have something that's both simple and sweet, without him taking it the wrong way. Good luck!! And have a great V-day

How strange situation here, that you do not have any romantic relationship with him. He is also not convincing. But as far as my opinion is concerned, You should pass some mamorable moment with him on same day. So It will be a suitable gift for him on the occassion of Valentine day

Perhaps a movie he likes? Or something he's interested in like if he likes to write you could get him some journals, or if he likes art...maybe a sketch pad.
