What to put in my special box?

Valentines Day question. What should I put in this box?

  • I have planned to make a wonderful box for my boyfriend this valentines day. the lid will have two wolves 'kissing' on it, which will be cut out from a t-shirt I found (if the t-shirt was his size I could just give him that lol, but it's not). and the sides of the box will have tasteful flat wooden hearts round them...probably in blue to match the wolf background. Its going to look great! My boyfriend loves wolves! The thing is... what should I put in this lovelly box? I'm not much of a poet or anything so the idea of little messages of love and devotion might not be too good. Heart shaped cookies, etc would mess up the box :(. and I really wouldnt want to spend much else as my budget has pretty much gone on the making the box. Does anyone have any ideas? Oh, the box is about the size of an ankle boot box, and square.

I liked the first idea someone said, of reasons why you think he's special, and why you are with him rather than any other guy on the planet. On my friend's sixteenth birthday a while back I did 16 things I loved about her and framed it, she really liked it and I was glad. I think it's a good idea to make something. Some more ideas of what to put in it, have you kept any special cards/notes, ticket stubs, flowers, or other significant items that have come out of your relationship? You could make it into a keepsake box. And put any further items in it as you grow together. Or perhaps find things that are meaningful to him, that he likes a lot (like you said, wolves) and put some more things in there. If it likes soccer, maybe a mini soccer ball, and then if he also likes cooking? some cooking utensils. If you don't like any of these ideas, give him something funny. Is there an inside joke that you two share? Or something that you have always talked about but never seriously thought of having? OK, I'm out of ideas. Maybe I'll come back later if I have more.

A few years ago I made what I called "101 reasons". It was jar and inside on 101 slips of paper, I wrote on each piece a reason why I loved him. All different. Can be done easily with the computer. Get different colored paper. On each one I hole punched a hole and put a slip of ribbon on each one. Makes it look fancier. If you really really love the guy. Make 365 reasons, one fore each day of the year. Takes some work but really appreciated because it shows it took time and alot of effort. Anyway, thats what I did. Didn't have a lot of money. Bought a card with it. You dont have to be a poet. The reasons come alot easier than you would expect. Dont forget to put the quirky stupid things he does.

some chocolate of course! and maby a small note that says i love you. or just a short sweet message.

You could buy some chocolates with it. Put that in the box along with some of your favourite memories together, hand written and each piece of paper with a kiss on it. He will like how personalised it is and the walk down memory lane will help him remember why the relationship u share is so unique.
