Valentines day isn't based on spending a whole lot of money just to someone that you love them. It's based one being with the one you love. In this case you like him and he likes you. So this isn't really for you. You two are just dating. You sound like your dating in high school. I know you think that you are the only one that didn't get anything but you aren't. Today I'm single and I didn't get anything and you know what I don't care. I'm not going to be unhappy that I'm single just because I'm sussosped to. I didn't care that I was single yesterday and I won't care today. Those gifts are nice but do they really mean anything ?. Those gifts just mean hey I was sussoped to get you this today and I did. Your going to dinner with him and his family that should be enough. This holiday is about being with the one you care about. You care about him you are going to spend it with him. So don't be upset. You've only been together for 3 months that is nothing.

omg im in the exact same situation! me and my bf have been dating for almost 3 months and he didnt mention anything to me about valentines day then last night i was like do u want to do something tomorrow? so hes like okay lets rent a movie so im like fine and then he txts me at 12am last ngiht and says " i just found out its valentines day tomorrow" so obviously he forgot lol. and the same things with the txts, he use to txt me all the time and now we hardly do and when we do sometimes is takes hours for him to reply, but alot of ppl tell me that its bc hes gotten comfortable and at the begining of the relationship he had to try inorder to get me and now that he has me he doesnt feel the need to try as much so let both hope that thats the case for both of us; that they are just comfortable with us and how the relationship is. and guys just dont understand that girls need reassurence but thats typical guy for ya.. lol let me know how it goes with you! maybe we can help eachother out with this stuff pstt i got my bf something too jus like chocolates and a card but i doubt he got me anything bc like i said he didnt remember till late last night. i think the issue with that is that guys dont like to show emotions really therefore when u do stuff for them they wont act overly excited and happy that u did it but i think inside they do care and they appreciate it so no wrrys i think he really does appreciate that u did that for him. guys just have a different way of expressing their gratitude
