Yahoo chat: This request was refused error?

when i click to join a chat room i get an error that says "this request was refused" and their is an ok button then after a while another error comes up saying "Signing in to Chat took longer than expected. Please try again later." an old one of my accounts has been giving me this error for about a year now what the hell do i do

if it works ok with your other account then the problem is narrowed down to this particular account. ditch it. especially if its been like that for a year now.
