How can I get my previous bookmarks back?

Yahoo's updated bookmarks system did not show new saves when Bookmarks clicked. So I clicked Refresh Bookmarks and it now only shows the new bookmark saved since the yahoo change. How can I get access to the bookmarks that vanished on clicking Refresh?

Answer:
Yahoo did give a response to a user and said they are working on a fix for them. They didn't say how long it will take. Those with windows 7 and IE9 didn't loose them and they are still in alphabetical order.
