I Got banned from Yahoo for no reason!?

  • okay so my computer crashes for two days and i finally get it running again..... i come back to yahoo and tried to get on my account and it says i have an invailid password when i know its right. I send an appeal about my account being compromised and they said i got banned for nothing i belive is wrong heres what they sent me okay. Hello ******, Thank you for writing to Yahoo!     Well there's nothing you can really do. I'm actually very sorry to hear that this happened. If possible, you might be able to contact this "Blair Bennet" and ask why your account was banned. I doubt that will do much though so the only thing you can really do is just move on. I'm really sorry again that this happene to ya bud. Take care. Hope everything is well

Can't really say that I don't feel your pain. I had an account totally disappear once under the same circumstances. I did a search and could find no record of any of the 200 + questions that I had asked over the period of a year and a half. And the oddest thing was that I had been out of the country for a month and a half and had not accessed the account in that time.

Likely that 'crash' was part of one of the 'spammers' we've been seeing pirating your account to post their trash. Not worth fighting about. Open a new account.
