How do i enter a yahoo chat room?

when i go to the menu click on join a chat room the chat room room list comes in front of me then when i click on a chat room a new window opens out and when i click on "enter room". i get an reply saying chat error chat request refused why is it so do i have to enter with a new chat user-name each time i enter a chat session
