Have tried many ways to get java back for the yahoo games. its asking for java butt java is dl not working?

why isnt it working?? it said that java and microsoft was expired??didnt quite understand that.until it stopped working.what can i do to get it working again?? i have went to the java site and microsoft but still isnt working..HELPPPPPPPPPP!!!
