Why can't I go to yahoo profile?

Why cant i see my updates with the new yahoo profile?

When i go into my yahoo email i check the little bell thing in the upper right hand side of the page it says i have updates from my previous comments on yahoo news when i click read more it takes me to the new profile thing and i cant do anything on it. I looked up help for this new profile thing under their help section and i did what it said and still NOTHING!!!! i would really like to see my updates and change my avatar pic but i cant with this new profile. PLEASE HELP i do not know what to do.
Answer:

From the Yahoo! Profile Settings page: "Where can I see updates I'm sharing? You can see your shared updates on Yahoo! Messenger for Windows." I don't have permissions to install software on my work machine (oh um, yeah, this is totally work related). Yahoo! please put this back on the web for those of us who don't have the option of installing software.
