How do i get a Yahoo e-mail address if ...?

if im with comcast as my internet provider? Im leaving AT&T sbcglobal.net Yahoo. To go to comcast.net as my provider. Do i need to create a yahoo.com account? I don't want to lose my Yahoo aswers profile with 14,000 points. Help???

Your Yahoo account has nothing to do with your Internet Service Provider. You can make your new e-mail account the primary e-mail for your Yahoo account, but it would be much better to simply have a Yahoo e-mail account with your Yahoo membership and have that as the primary e-mail.
