How can I tell how long I've been a member of Yahoo?

Ive heard that yahoo is closing accounts or making people pay for their services ive been a member for about 8

Most likely just a rumor. Don't worry about it. If Yahoo had any plans of doing so, they would make a big announcement on their website, officially.

YAHOO HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE SINCE 1994, i believe someone above stated been a member since 1970, impossible............ Yahoo will continue to maintain a selection of free services(they have too or they wold have no people to view the adverts which is where they make the REAL $$), there are "upgraded" email and other features that are paid services.. same as it has been forever and a day(I too have been with Yahoo off and on since 1998).. OCCASIONALLY, I get adverts from yahoo about "upgrading" my service... I just ignore them like all the rest of the spam... I think you can relax...yahoo is NOTHING without its "free" audience to market is ads to.

Goodness me !!!! Where did you hear about it? I certainly hope its not true. I'll be damned. What will happen to all of us? Just disperse? Sad if they do. Just hope Hotmail comes up with something like this if they really do. They already have lots of money from the advertisers.

No they are not. They have enough paying customers that they will keep their Free Email opened to everyone who wants it I have been with Yahoo since 1970. And even if they did charge I would buy in. They are the only site I would use anyway

i check my yahoo stuff pretty frequently and i haven't heard anything like this...maybe it was yaboo...

i dont think you would have to pay , hotmail sent that same message and nothing happened .if anyone sends you an invoice then its a scam
