What to do if you buy something off a website and the website disappears?

  • Hi, I brought a pair of GHDs from a website at the start of December, and I understood that the post was delayed. Now when I go to the website, it has disappeared? Does anyone know if there is someone I can contact or any advice on what to do? I will include the website below.     Arghh! This is so annoying, the same thing happened to me. I ordered my straighteners in November and after multiple emails they gave me a Parcel force tracking number which never leftt Beijing. I kept emailing the companysupplier email address on the website and over the past few days they've told me that the item and the shipping has been lost. I asked for a refund and they said because the item and shipping's lost, i was only entitled to 50% refund. Obviously i wasnt too happy with this and told them that this was unacceptable and demanded either a full refund or another pair sent out. They said i'd have to pay £30 shipping fee for this which an absolute load of rubbish. This site is obviously a fake and what's more annoying is the fact that i could have bought them off the high street for an extra £20 - i wont be doing this again! I'll be contacting my bank to see what they can do.

Hi, Sorry to hear this but the same thing has happened to me, We paid them at the end of November, Parcel Force tracked it to Beiging and thats it. £80 down the drain. Let me know if you know how to get it back! Thanks

Assuming you used a credit card or bank card have the charges reversed. I think I have heard of this scam before.
