Can I make My Yahoo! my homepage?

I need some help. I have windows XP.I was wondering how I can make my homepage my.yahoo.com instead of msn.?

I have tried everything I know of to change but, it won't stay changed. Help. I have went to my.yahoo.com and clicked on make my homepage my.yahoo.com.It won't work,either.I have went to internet connections also.It still won't work. I called my ISP and they said it was a virus but, I know it isn't because I run a virus check on Sept,30,2007.All clear. I need some help.Please.Also, The top of the screen it has a bar that has File,Edit,view,etc... They won't come on there anymore.
Answer:

Click Tools>Internet Options and you will see a box. Type in the website and it should work for IE6. If using Opera go to preferences. Right click to add buttons to the tool bar and check off the correct ones or click customize.
