On Yahoo, how can you add people as a friend?

What are yahoo points and haw do u add people ?

• hi im new to yahoo and i was wondering what are yahoo points ? were are they and how do u get them ? i was also wondering how to add people like my friend goes on fanasy spots so can i add her and can i add people not on yahoo? thx so much u will be a big help

  The points move you from level 1 to level 7, as you move up the levels you are able to answer, ask and vote more, sorry there are no prizes with the points. How the points system works:- Answering a question you earn 2 points. Asking a question you have 5 points deducted, but when you have chosen a best answer to your question you earn 3 points back. Voting on unresolved questions you earn 1 point for each vote given. Being chosen as best answer you earn 10 points plus 1 point for every thumbs up to a maximum of 50. Logging in to Yahoo Answers each day you earn 1 point. If you want to add someone as your fan or contact, all you do is just click on their avatar or go into their profile and click on Add Contact and you have a fan/contact. No you cannot add someone from another site as a fan/contact they have to be a user on this site.
