Help with yahoo texting..?

  • When I try to text someone it often says invalid phone number. But when I try to crunch the area code with the first 3 numbers it goes thru.. am I still texting the right person? like this (555) 123 4567 but for yahoo I put 555123 4567 and then it sends the text. Help?

    Go to the mail screen and click New. Then enter their 10 digit [email protected] No need for the 1 or a subject. Keep the message short because it is a text. Then Send. A copy will be in your sent bin, and when they reply to you it will be in your inbox. I do this everyday to several different cell carriers. And they to me. Yes that is correct.
