What happened to old Yahoo chat rooms?

  • I hate these new chatrooms which pretened to be in a ship or something!Does anybody know how can i log on old chatrooms,i guess they are still running for all other parts of the world except Britain!

    Paedophilic grooming on the internet became a moral panic, all the big companies panicked, and hotmail and yahoo withdrew their chatrooms due to their complete ability to have almost total anonimity, by restricting and removing things they hoped to change this, just means it's transferred to things like MSN and Yahoo! Messenger.... As far as i know there is no way to access the chat rooms within the UK, your internet ip addresses etc tell them your location.
