I just got something from someone posing as Bank of America saying that I had to fill out some information or they will close my account. It even had an email address as @bankofamerica. Funny thing is...I don't have a Bank of America account. So be really careful of SCAMS!

This is what is called "Phishing". They try to get enough information on you to locate whatever bank accounts you have, after which they will clean them out. Do not respond to the Email, and I would notify Yahoo AND your Government AND the police, although there is probably nothing any of them can do.

Call, email, see what it's about. Ask for written proof and numbers to call. But don't give any of you're personal info, like Date Of Birth or address until you are sure. Congratulations?
