What are good message boards?

What happened to Yahoo's message boards?

• I've been banned from the internet for a while. I mean, seriously banned...I made a a bad joke and the government got mad! I mean the message boards for individual news boards. They aren't there anymore. Those boards were crazy! Good times and laughs!

  for one you cannot get banned from the internet, you can get thrown in jail and not have access. the reason they were removed is because there were some ppl who used them to threaten, harass and make criminal remarks to others. I know of a several instances where guys were actually making fun of abuse children and discussing how they would 'do it' to the kids. You may have thought them funny but some ppl took it way too far. its one thing to make off color jokes, etc. but it's quite another to laugh at ppl being killed, raped or beaten up or to stalk and harass others. personally i am glad they are gone because there are too many immature ppl who think hurting others is funny and they don't have the intelligence or compassion to control themselves. too everyone needs to understand that the internet is not anonymous and i know for a fact that yahoo tracked down those posters who were repeatedly reported for making threats against children. you will also note that yahoo no longer allows ppl to respond to news articles either.
