Why can't I get in chat rooms?

Why can't i get into any chat rooms?

  • When i try to get into a room it will say connected but give me a blank screen, or give me a pop up that says it took to long to sign into chat room try again later.

    It's Yahoo servers. Basically, the amount of bots that hit rooms casues yahoo's servers to struggle once in a while, and therefore cause problems logging in There is another way though, if you completely exit yahoo messenger and restart the application, it sometimes allows you to go onto the chat room that you desire if not, try entering one of the other rooms with less chatters and then switch into your desired room while in the chat window
