How can I switch from yahoo 360 to my regular profile?

How does a user delete their Yahoo! profile?

  • I am aware that the 360 profile is a thing of the past, and that users are being forced to switch to a 'profile' just like the one that we can link to, from our Yahoo! Answers profile page. But, there are several of us here that have asked this very question over and over again, and nobody seems to have provided a concrete answer. I've even sent an email to: [email protected] (no 'e' in answers is correct) And asked quite nicely for instructions for deleting the profile, or to have the answers team delete the profile for me. But I have yet to get a response. Does ANYONE honestly know how to delete their profile? If so, there are several of us that would like to know how it is done. Any real solution you can offer would be great. Thanks in advance.

    You cannot delete only single yahoo profiles.Your yahoo account comes as a package and you can only delete the whole package that includes the following: ◘ Yahoo answers. (Your questions and answers will remain). ◘ Flickr. ◘ Yahoo Mail. ◘ Yahoo notepad. ◘ My Yahoo. ◘ Yahoo briefcase ◘ Any other yahoo program that needs your Yahoo ID and password. Once a yahoo account is deleted it and its contents cannot be recovered. Now the Permissions page shows only a message reminding you that your profile is hidden and an Unhide My Profile button. Note:One serious way to protect your privacy, temporarily or permanently, is to hide your profile. When your profile is hidden, no one but you can see any part of it other than your display name.In that change your Nick name also.
