How Do I Delete My Yahoo Profile?

My friend sent me an invite to connect with me on Yahoo. I agreed, not knowing what it was. I signed up and then I read somewhere that I can see my family and friends emails. If this is the case, then my family and friends can read MY emails if I'm connected to them. If I'm wrong, well keep reading. How do I delete this stupid profile without deleting my Yahoo account? I don't want this Yahoo Profile thing, but I want my Yahoo account. Please help me!
Answer:

You cannot delete the profile associated with your main ID. However, only you can see your emails, not your family or anyone else unless they know your email address and your password. If you are concerned, change the password to your email account.
