How to delete questions that I asked before from Yahoo?

How do you delete questions off yahoo anwsers that you have asked?

    You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still 'open'. Once a question is in 'voting' or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway). You can also email Yahoo Customer services at [email protected] or [email protected] and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you To delete your question while it's still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question. :o) http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/ask/ask-76322.html

i have questions in here since 2006 !! :S ... some have been deleted for no response ... but the ones with answers haven't been deleted since !! :S In addition, when u first signed to yahoo answers, u agreed to keep those answers once resolved to be yahoo's property ... so u can't delete questions that r resolved ... However, the ones that r not decided and still open ... u can delete them :D

You can only delete questions and answers that haven't gone into vote or been resolved. They then belong to the Yahoo archives for further research and knowledge. If not in the voting process yet, click the question to open it, then click the Pencil, click Delete. If it's an answer not in vote or resolved, click Delete under it. You can always write to Y!A and see if they will delete it at: US: [email protected] UK: [email protected] To make your questions and answers private, go to My Activity and click Edit My Preferences. Then click Privacy and Communications. Go to Answers Network and click the boxes, click Submit.

You can only do that if it's not in voting. Once a question has been resolved it becomes the property of Yahoo answers and cannot be deleted. That is part of the rules of the site which you agreed to when you signed up.
