How do you clear browser cookies?

When you log in to fanfiction.net you sometimes have to clear the browser cookies and I have no idea how. Because after I log in it takes me to the screen that says "You need to log in to acces this page. If you think you have reached this page by error, clear your browser cookies and try again." so frustrating...
Answer:

Start Button> Control Panel> Internet Options> Delete> Delete Cookies Takes less than a second to do this, once you get there

Download ccleaner from downloads.com google it and u can clr ur cookies from ur computer once u install it right click ur trash can and run ccleaner and it will delete history and cookies plus ur safe passwords so remember all ur passwords and log in names
