Can I use my Military ID to get a Passport?

Can i use my passport with an old pic as ID to get into bars?

• I turned 18 not so long ago, though i don't have a driving lisence i have a passport to use as ID, the only thing is, the pic is of me when i was about 8! (i think it expires this year or next) would i still be able to get into clubs and things with it? my cousin was the same when she turned 16 with doing the lottery, only she has dyed her hair from quite dark to blonde and it seemed fine for her to use a picture of herself at 7 that looked completly different! is it worth chancing it? thanks!

  It has your date of birth on it so will be OK.You should send off for a provisional driving licence even if your not going to learn to drive.It lasts yonks and is a good form of i.d for banks etc. Also when you renew your passport you can let them check your photo with them.It's a pain if passport office sends it back because the photo doesn't pass new tests.
