How do you boot someone off yahoo chat?

How do I chat with someone on yahoo?? And how do I ask someone to chat without sounding creepy?

  • Yeah, I'm rlly new to this site. People who have answered my questions are inviting me to chat and I don't know how. And what I mean by the second question is, how to respond to someone asking you to chat without sounding to awkward.... Plz help!!!

    Go to your profile by clicking on your avatar or <my activity> at the top of this page, click "edit my preferences", click "privacy & communications" at the top, scroll down to "The Answers Community can contact me" near the bottom, enable mail and/or IM contact, hit "submit". Then click on the avatar of the user you would like to get in touch with, and if they allow contact, use the link provided right there. Don't worry about sounding awkward, if somebody invited you to chat with them, they expect your message, so maybe just say something like "Hi, got your message, would like to talk with you".
