How to eliminate my yahoo ID?

Can i eliminate my currant yahoo id and create a new one?

It was a difficult process. I really don't remember but if you go to yahoos homepage, find where you can ask a question and they will send you an email with detailed instructions on how to delete you ID. As far as creating a new ID, you can have as many as you'd like, but can only sign in with one name at a time.

ive tried this before and the only thing i can seem to think of is to just not go on it for a very long while- i used to be able to delete it, but im not sure if they still have that option. good luck!!

Login to your account you want to delete and copy this....https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user..... use is USER add R and paste it to the web . follow the yahoo instructions. REMEMBER you delete you cannot recover it or create a new id with the same one you deleted
