How do you add a "favorites" button?

I am now using firefox as my search engine but the toolbar does not have a favorites button where i can store my favorite pages. Does anyone know how i can add one? (it used to be a yellow star on Internet explorer) please reply in simple terms as i am thick.

You have bookmarks but I recommend you install delicious bookmarks http://delicious.com Very easy to tag and use all your favourite pages.

Look at your tool bar across the top and click where it says "Favorites". The add the website you want on your favorites. I am not really sure about firefox.
