    To make or edit a Yahoo! avatar go here http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and then to set it as your picture: 1. put your mouse on my activity on the green bar above but don’t click 2. you will see the option edit my preferences click that. 3. click update photo or avatar. 4. select the picture/avatar you want. 5. click use selected photo/avatar 6. click submit changes.

To add a new "photo" avatar click on "add photo". To add a cartoon avatar click on "customize avatar". Create one and return.
