What the heck is wrong with LaunchCast?

Yahoo Launchcast does not save Genre changes. What gives?

• This isn't a new problem, but I just now realized I should ask about it here. Whenever I try to make a change to my Genre preferances on Yahoo Launchcast, the message says "Saved!" but when I return to the screen later all the ratings have been erased. When I first started using Launchcast I did not have this problem. I can rate things from within the Launchcast window perfectly fine. While I have rated enough music on Launchcast for the program to pick music I like at least 50% of the time, it would be nice for me to improve this percentage by directing it more towards one type of subgenre.

  I did some testing on my station. It appears that the main Genre ratings will stick but the Subgenre ratings disappear, just like you said. I don't know why. I am going to put this question on the Launchcast group and see if one of the Yahoo Music people know the answer. If you want to monitor this, go to groups.yahoo.com/group/launchcast . Maybe we will both get an answer. (Update 10/21/06 - I still don't have an answer, but I would like to get one.
