How do you change your avatar to a boy?

  • I have a girl avatar and I want a boy avatar.

  • Answer:

    Click on the Avatar you have now. That will take you to your Y!A profile page. Click the link next to your picture that says "My 360 profile" Then click " My page" which is located at the top of the profile page. Now, on that page, you will see above your current Avatar "Edit Personal Photo's" Click that. Use this page to upload the photo that you want. ( It has to be saved someplace on your computer to upload it) Click "Save" and then refresh. There should be a button next to the picture you have uploaded that says " set as Primary".....check that. Now that you have done that.... go back to Yahoo Answers and click on your Avatar to take you to your profile page for Y!A. Click on " Edit My Info" Then be sure to check the box that says..."Use my Yahoo! 360 Picture" and then click "Preview" at the bottom of the screen. Then Click "OK" at the bottom of that screen.... and you have a new avatar of your choosing.

On my yahoo or yahoo mail (if u have the old one, like me) click your avatar to go to my avatars. Click preferences, then change gender. You can edit your avatar further from there...

Asked and answered here previously... On the webpage http://avatars.yahoo.com on the top right corner click "Preferences", click "Change" under "Change My Avatar's Gender", click "Switch My Avatar's Gender to...".
