I bought a skateboard offline, and when i track it it show that my package is... what does that mean?

i bought a skateboard from bcheap.com on the 3rd of Dec. and now when i track it , it says that my package is: REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY / SHIPMENT SUBMITTED TO CLEARING AGENCY what does that description mean? is it still going to arrive on time, which is supposed to be on the 13th ?

Clearing Agency is a middle man, and on-time delivery should include this in delivery schedule.

Is it coming from another country? It could be customs. My best advice would be for you to call UPS.

I have never seen that exact message. Many companies, such as Amazon.com, send the information about the shipment by computer before they even send out the package. UPS then shows that the information was submitted. During busy seasons, such as now, you may not even see a status until it reaches its final destination. The clearing agency may just be an agent that the shipper uses who then delivers it to UPS. This would be especially true if the shipment is between countries. ✩

It means UPS is aware of your package, but it might not have left the company that has your package. UPS knows they need to pick your package up. Once it is in their posession, you'll be able to track it on UPS's website.
