How does Yahoo work financially?

Advertising...meethinks. Do you remember seeing ALL those ads at the bottom of the messenger window? I bet they weren't put on there for free.

rich and filty rich and they should be giving out more free games and programmes and in fact that should be asking their programmers to make a new email programme to replace th stupid Microsoft outlook which gives so many user problem (now this is a personal perception - no intention of malice nor bad intention and grievious hurt that may occur to bill gates and other microsoft lover are purely unintentional) Outlook likes to hang they cannot take multiple handphone their security in the diary and the programme sucks. ie you cannot let people your computer without someone peeking into your mails or your diary as there are no password control so Yahoo should be making a programme that allows user to download to replace it and synchonised to all phones, pda and digital documents. something as good as lotus notes for personal users and it can be installed and uses as even on off line basis Please vote and help us to asked Yahoo to give us a good computer resident email, organiser and full fledge programme for free since they make so much monies from us anyway
