How to update bbm on blackberry curve 8520?

I have a blackberry curve 8520 and recently purchased bbm, but the old one, how do i update to the new version? It doesnt say anything in 'app world' or anything. Help please? thank you for you answers!!

Answer:
You do not have to purchase BBM just download. When you go into appworld search for blackberry messenger and select download. It will ask you if you want to replace your older version with the newer one. Just make sure the one you are upgrading to has a higher version number than the one you already have.
